Is CPT compulsory for graduates?

Is CPT compulsory for graduates? Is there any direct entry for inter?

The CPT exam is not compulsory for a graduate student if the graduate student has scored 50% and more. If you have scored more than 50 percent in your graduation then you can directly enroll in the 2nd level which is known as the IPCC.

However, if you have scored less than 50 percent marks in your graduation, then you will be required to clear the CPT exam first. Any graduates with less than a 50 percent score cannot directly appear for inter CA and have to pass CA-CPT exam first.

Can I enroll for ca-cpt coaching classes when I am in 11th standard?

If you study in class 11 and want to apply to the CA-CPT coaching class then yes you can do so.

But you can not appear for the Common Proficiency Test unless you have completed your 12th standard.

You can apply for the CPT exam once you have completed your 10th standard but you have to clear your 12th standard to sit for the CPT exams.

Many students though enroll for a CA-CPT Coaching class immediately as they enter 11th standard to better prepare themselves for CPT exam.
